COVID-19 Alert During this unprecedented public health emergency, the Monitor Team for the ODonnell Consent Decree is working diligently with Harris County officials to ensure that misdemeanor arrestees in Harris County have their cases handled in full compliance with the Decree, in order to best protect the health of Sheriff’s Department employees who work in the jail, other law enforcement officials, the remaining jail inmates, and the entire Harris County community.
